Fixed Price Cruciate Surgery at Westport Vets
At Westport Vets, we’re dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for your pets. We offer fixed price cruciate surgery using TPLO, CCWO and TTA techniques, tailored to achieve the best outcome for each individual dog.
Types of Surgeries:
Westport Vets is equipped to perform a range of cruciate surgeries tailored to the specific needs of each patient. While we offer all standard procedures, we primarily recommend TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) and CCWO (Cranial Closing Wedge Osteotomy) for their long-term benefits, particularly in larger breeds and active dogs. Our decision on the best surgical technique (TPLO, CCWO, and TTA) is always based on what is most appropriate for the individual patient. Stuart’s extensive experience, including over 1000 extracapsular repairs and 700 TTA procedures, ensures that each dog receives the optimal care for their condition.

Please note:
This fixed price covers the standard surgical pathway for cruciate ligament disease. In some cases, additional treatment may be required, for example due to complications, concurrent conditions, or where further investigations or procedures are needed. These are not included within the fixed price, but we will always discuss any additional costs with you clearly and in advance.
To qualify for this fixed price, your pet’s surgery must be registered and followed up in the RCVS Cruciate Registry. We will guide you through this simple process.
What is the RCVS Cruciate Registry?
Registration with the RCVS Cruciate Registry helps us monitor your pet’s progress and ensures continuous improvement in surgical outcomes. It is a crucial part of our care process and is mandatory for all cruciate surgery patients under the fixed price plan.
