Recently Hannah decided to head down to London to attend the London Vet Show alongside 2 of our other vets Natalie and Rachel. Here’s how it went:
London Vet Show is a 2 day event with a huge array of lectures to attend from surgical wound management to chronic pain to emergency medicine.
We were spoiled for choice for lectures and it was hard to choose which ones would be most useful, but I followed a variety of different streams to learn more about diabetic emergencies, dental disease and treatment, Cushing’s syndrome and the latest developments regarding Brucellosis.
There was also the opportunity to speak to lots of veterinary suppliers of equipment, medicines and technology to get updates about any new treatments or medicines that have recently been launched.
London Vet Show draws in hundreds of veterinary professionals every year so it’s a fantastic event for networking and meeting up with old colleagues to see how they’re getting along. It was a great event to attend with lots of useful information and I’ve returned ready to share my new knowledge with the rest of Team Westport.
