This week Liesbeth and Gillian visited Cambridge Vet School for a CPD fiesta. It was a very early start on “the red eye” from Edinburgh airport to London, but the high winds and turbulence kept them awake!
The day had a medicine focus with two lecturing streams – canine and feline medicine.
They decided to divide and conquer, with Liesbeth tackling the feline medicine cases and Gillian concentrating on the canine endocrinology stream. There were a variety of international speakers from as far away as Colarado, which they both hope to visit next year to visit Dr. Lappin’s laboratory. It was a great day with lots of new ideas as well as revision of well established concepts. With aching brain cells, they headed home on the evening flight to Edinburgh.
